Black History Month
James Brown once said "say it loud im black and Im proud " I am of an african-amercian race and yes I am proud to stand true in this world.
We were put off as slaves and peanets but we have grown from, from being thougth pain and stress we are done with putting are heads down, and we are over with having people to sit on are backs and tell us to go like we are suppose to be driveing Ms.Daisy.
As 2pac once said "Some say the blacker the berry the sweeter the jucie I say the darker the flesh the deeper the roots"
4 words spoken from one man"I have a dream" that changed the nation. Rosa Parks she wasnt going to get up and she was right we dont have to rise to your command.
As Patricia Simpson-Turner once wrote
I find in being black a thing of beauty: a joy, strength;a secrect cup of gladness, a negative land in neither time nor space a negative land in every Negro face! Be loyal to yourselves: your skin, your hair, your lips, your southern speech, your laughing kindness, and your Negro kingdoms vast as any other.
So stand with me my brothers and sisters from state to state to country to country because
As Jessie Carney Smith once said "We don't know that things can't be done, that dreams can't be fullfilled, that great accomplishments can be realized, until somebody takes that first steps and shows the way". so stand and be proud to be an African-American. YOU DESERVE IT!
